The 78-year-old, almost 79 in two months, appeared at an event hosted by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC); his appearance raised questions about his well-being, which has been a brewing topic of discussion since 2024.
Some attendees claimed that he was looking odd with notably whiter hair and a darker complexion. He was giving an illuminating look, making online users speculate that he must have had a new spray tan or a new hairpiece. “He is not well. I can see why he is getting a checkup on Friday,” warned another. At the same time, a third wrote, “Jesus H Christ, he is literally glowing from all his toxicity.”
As per The Irish Star, Amid everyone’s concerns about his well-being, Donald Trump took to his platform, Truth Social, and assured everyone that he was doing fine. He wrote, “I am pleased to report that my long-scheduled Annual Physical Examination will be done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday of this week. I have never felt better, but these things must be done!”
Trump has also faced scrutiny over his health. For instance, several sources have revealed that Trump’s health has started deteriorating, and he’s allegedly begun showing early signs of dementia (a mental illness). A few weeks earlier, a clip of him struggling to read was posted on X (formerly Twitter).
In the clip, Trump incorrectly pronounces the word “patron saint” by instead saying “patriot saint” and then later repeating it once again. In addition, author Michael Wolf, who spoke to countless government insiders for his explosive‘All or Nothing’ book about Trump’s second rise to power, told The Telegraph that owing to his age, he might not make it to serve a third term in the future, whose possibility the President has not ruled out in media interviews.

Furthermore, during the NRCC event, Trump’s speech focused on key points such as trade and tariffs, which have been making headlines in the media since he unveiled an extensive list of tariffs aimed at various countries across the globe. Consequently, many nations were slammed with high tariffs, including 104% for large exporters like China.
Trump argued that the high tariff was necessary to correct trade imbalances and for the betterment of future trade negotiations. He called them “good” and said that China has “ripped us off left and right,” adding, “It’s our turn to do the rippin’.”

Due to the President’s new tariff policies, the stock market in America is unstable. While the S&P 500 briefly rose on Tuesday due to hopes for negotiations, it dropped 1.57% after the White House announced tariffs on China. Despite the intense backlash, he remains firm with his decision when it comes to the tariff rates and claims that these tariffs would help to generate billions of revenue.
While these actions might hamper his reputation in front of the world, knowing Trump’s radical thoughts and assertive nature, we don’t think he cares about that. Either way, time will carve out a better answer for us, as nothing seems to be concrete in the scenario as of now.
